I thought Degeneration was pretty ok and this one looks promising I guess. Not getting my hopes up too much just yet though.
I hope that mysterious man is Barry and that his AK looking weapon is just an overly elaborate Magnum revolver. I wonder if he brought sandwiches...
What, noone thinking it might be the long-missing Carlos Olivera? I mean, the poor guy hasn't shown up in a game since helping Jill get the heck out of Raccoon City; he's about due for another appearance. Add to that the fact that he's likely someone Leon doesn't know and he's not been portrayed as smuggling melons under his sleeves like Chris, and I'm willing to entertain the notion.
Okay, so I've only got a minor interest in the Resident Evil games (despite a friend of mine swearing up and down I should try the fourth one at the very least and even sending me the game), and a nearly non-existent interest in the Resident Evil live action films. I'm only partially aware of the existence of the CGI films.
But now it is the time for making of the questions!
-Is there any reason why all this is taking place at night? Yeah, this one's just silly, but it was the first one that popped into my mind before seeing the rest of the trailer.
-So Mr. Pudding Bowl Haircut deemed the newcomer enough of a threat to turn his back on a pack of Lickers for a good five seconds? And what, that pack just up and decides to get all crawly-like?
-And why the hell would Mr. PBH think that newcomer is a threat when he seems to be the one that pulverized that Licker that just lept at him moments before? Yeah, Leon got some pot shots off when the camera was behind him, but he clearly wasn't shooting at it anymore once the camera was behind the exploding strawberry Jell-o mold.
Seeing this thing reminds me of seeing the Bioshock Infinite gameplay trailer. But instead of thinking, "Asshole! There's a thing comin' atcha! There's a thing comin' atcha! MOVE!" it's "Asshole! There're things comin' atcha! There're things com-- TURN AROUND! If you were an extra trying to play hero you would be in pieces by now and the characters that mattered would shake their heads in disapproval and call you a fool but no one would really miss you because you were an extra that needed to be killed off to show how srs fkn bzns these things are!"

y is it that the licker always gets the spotlight when it is a lesser monster compared to the Hunter? I mean instant decapitation vs getting hit a few times >.<

It's gotta be Chris or Billy, both of those guys are pretty butch and the silhouette looked pretty lean (though maybe a bit too skinny for Chris?).
I get why Chris would be there, but seeing as they're both part of the anti-Umbrella movement, I'd say they would know about each other's presence in the city. Billy on the other hand has a bit of a fan following and where he wound up after RE0 is unkown. I'm hoping for Billy, he needs more of the spot light!

Oh yeah, or it could be Carlos. I wouldn't say he's long missed though, never gets very far in popularity polls. But it's possible, there are a few loose ends that CAPCOM could use to explain this guy. For all we know it's Nicholai? Given RE3's lack of a canonical ending and follow up, Carlos or Nicholai might be dead.Draksila said:

Jesus men! What the hell are you all saying? This movie is placed before RE5, so it has to be after 2005 (RE Revelations and Degeneration take place in 2005) and not beyond 2009 when RE5 takes place. Nobody gives a shit about Nikolai nor Olivera, it must be Chris, impossible to be Wesker because he simply doesn't go in the middle of a war zone, not his style and anyways he doesn't use anything different from a pistol of his hands, again not his style. For those of you who said it is Krauser, well since nobody used the dragon balls to bring him back to life, it's not him, Ada killed him, remember? And it's dark not easy to see somebody in the face and recognize him right away, especially if you never met him in person before (just phone call or email or whatever it was --->RE Code Veronica X).
I personally like the Movies with Milla Jovovich, but they are simply not worth the Resident Evil title.
