hi, I have left a good paid job recently, my big excuse, I was not getting "enough fun" doing it.
I also just finished a diploma in college for video game programming but I have a weird feeling of not really wanting to work full time and there practically no real part time possible other than being on contract and what not.
So now beginning to be very close of the real need of money I don't really know what to do, I just don't want to apply for the random job at the convenience store or at the grocery at the lowest pay and still not be happy with my job

Have you considered freelance work? I have no idea if there's much money in it, let alone job security, but you could try outsourcing yourself in the casual games and apps market.

You might still need to work part-time just so you have a regular guaranteed income, though.

I think you can try out freelancing too.
Just have back up plans and jobs to keep sufficient income coming in.

It is actually wuite fun to juggle a few jobs because you can learn from one job and apply to the other.

You can check your local newspaper or craigslist for jobs. If not then I would suggest doing what the two others above suggested.

Best of luck to you.

But leaving a job because you didn't have enough "fun", with the amount of people out there looking for work these days, that seems a bit reckless. Why didn't you try to work something out whilst working, then make the transition to something you liked more, that way there would be no money troubles. But hindsight is 20/20 eh.

As far as advice goes, what the others have suggested is good, but without knowing your kind of work, there's very little I can give.

You may have to. Keeping a roof over your head and feeding yourself should be top priority, and to be honest, you have put yourself in your current situation without (Or so it seems) any kind of real plan, so you may have to swallow your pride and do that. That's about all I can give in advice, since I don't know what it is you're kind of looking for.
