you're playing an action (or other) type game and theres a cutscene that shows your character doing shit that you can't do in the game? Take for instance this...


Sure that looks cool and all but it'd be nice if I could actually do all that..

For discussion purposes(unless you feel like bashing the new Dante here), what things in games irritate you?

Capcom games seem to do a lot of that and that is annoying.

Every JRPG ever. In a cutscene you are an epic magical badass that does crazy damage, then in game you are fighting a squirrel and swinging your sword for ten damage.

Gears of War 2

When you see Cole running up, killing a locust with a few Lancer Bullets, dodging a melee attack of a Cyclops, tagging it immediatly with a grenade without un-equipping his lancer, also headshotting a Drone with ONE Lancer bullet, I am hating how Gears is masturbating to it's own cut-scenes rather than allow you to do this.

Both of the Gears games are guilty of this. I hate watching the cut scenes being like "Awww, that looks like fun." There are sooo many that you could actually be playing, it gets annoying. Hell, they'll show a full out skirmish that is just like any other one you've done throughout the game, except it's in an environment that would be a blast to play in.
