SILENCE!! TWIST THOSE KNOBS!!! YOU! PULL SOME LEVERS!!!

I become a big fan of the show after it was taken off the air (actually didn't get to watch it until it came on DVD) I don't think I ever saw a show so amazingly cynical and crazy since Ren and Stimpy. If anything I think the show was a little too jaded and disturbing for a wide audience here is to hoping it gains some traction.

I'm developing a MIGHTY NEED for this comic right now...

Also, why haven't I bought the OG series on DVD yet?

Dammit! Now I have to use the bathroom. I blame GIR, he is always causing trouble, second in line is Zim because he could not possibly be responsible through deliberate action... right?

You can stop giggling now. Oni Press isn't really known for hardcore gore and angst. Sadly this series wasn't given to Avatar Press, as they'd be the ones to give Invader Zim (and Jhonen) full horrible reign.
*shudder* Avatar press...maybe its for the best

[quote/]With Oni best your going to get is more of the show, and that's good enough.[/quote]
I'd argue they'd still get more leeway in terms of what boundaries they can push, comics generally have more tolerance for violence than a Nickelodeon show and I (assume) the comics market is majority made up of Adults

Glad to see that I'm not the only one that thinks this won't work nearly as well as the animated series did, due to how most of the humor was established through animation gags and voice acting.

I whooped. I hollered. I sang along to the Doom Song.

... and then I realised it just won't be the same.

What? Of course I'm still gonna buy it!

Woo, that confirmation is exciting. I'm actually a bigger fan of Aaron Alexovich than I am of Vasqueeze; so this is win-win for me.

I mean, it won't be the same as if the cartoon kept going, but it's better than nothing.
