Doom's Release Date Possibly Leaked

A leak from Amazon France is suggesting Doom will launch on June 30.

Bethesda's Amazon France [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/tag/view/doom?os=%20doom].

The site listing for the game on all three platforms says it will launch on June 30, 2016. While far from an official confirmation, it's worth noting that Amazon release date leaks have been accurate in the past. Most recently, it accurately predicted [http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/12/14/rise-of-the-tomb-raider-comes-to-pc-in-january] the release date for the PC version of Tomb Raider.

That said, it could just be a placeholder date thrown up to attract pre-orders.

We have reached out to Bethesda for confirmation.

well, if true, then i still have time to finish off other games. from what i saw from E3 footage, it looks nostalgic enough with a serious amount of gore.

Let's see, June 30th should be several months after official mod support for PC Fallout 4 comes out. Nope, I will have no time to play QTE Doom.

There are no QTE's. >_> You press a button to execute monsters when they're stunned enough and you're close enough.

I can't help but read this news as "Amazon did it first, don't blacklist us!"

I will be getting Doom though.
