What ever happened to this show? As well as the other few episodes that were coming out with it... I don't remember ever seeing anything about it quitting or being cancelled.

They went on a very extended hiatus, to work on a feature film "Toonstone" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1754767/
Etheridge's facebook talks about stuff regularly still.

Either way, yeah, they're on hiatus until that Toonstone movie is released. I really hope they come back to D&A. That show was amazing.

I see, well Im sure the movie will be great, I hope they will come back to the Escapist.

And sorry I wanted to post in the sub forum about the escapist shows but there wasnt a new topic button, so I inadvertently clicked the first sub forum I saw and so here we are, lol.

A while ago, i tried googling Chris Slack from De-rez, and couldn't pin anything down.

I was really hoping Lund and Shanks would keep doing.. SOMETHING, anything, after DoomsdayArcade.

Unforgotten Realms was still trying to sell DVDs to fund an independently done season, last i checked.

Yeah what really sucks is that once a series is done it gets buried away, so unless you knew about it then you wont get to really see it. I did search for UR and I dont think hes uploaded any new videos :/

Well, here is a short list of the shows that I remember and why they were cancelled:
Unforgotten Realms: Show got really weak toward the end and simply was not able to keep the audience it once had.
I hit it with my Axe: Pornstars playing DnD does not really make for an interesting webseries, fortunately the escapist caught on to that rather quickly.
Apocalypse Lane: The author wanted to end the show on a high note and actually.. yknow, concluded it, which I applaud, to many creators of webseries are to content dragging the story out longer than need be and in the end just drive their series into the ground (see Unforgotten Realms). Also, he went on to do Doraleus, which was easily one of the best shows on this site and rivaled UR while it was still good.
Gamedogs: It was gamedogs... nough said.
Movie Bob: His show had to be cancelled after he drowned in the endless streams of smug, self righteous bullshit spilling out of every orifice of his body... Oh no wait, that was just a really pleasant dream I once had.
And there ya have it, that's where some of the more recent series have gone.
