so what is it about henchman in movies
firstly, how do they apply for this job, does a supervillain hand out some leaflets on a street corner saying "evil henchman needed" and hope no police investigate these leaflets
secondly, why are they always dumb and in horror movies, why are they scared of what they are fighting such as a monster, I thought they were supposed to be hard as nails bad guys, don't they have to go through some kind of training or IQ test, I mean if I was a supervillain and I needed some henchman, I would make them pass an IQ test and go through some serious training and tests before I let them guard my lair
thirdly, kinda related to the training part, their aim is always bad, does the villain just tell them "don't actually kill the bad guy, just make it more annoying and time consuming for him/her/them to stop me"
this is apparent in lots of movies, I'm wondering, what bothers you in movies?
