I have noticed that there has been a lot of double posts on the Escapist. I am not talking about the same user making the same post twice, but different users making the same (or almost similar) post twice.
These occurrences spike during a 'nerd rage' outbreak. To name an example Duke Nukem Forever. It has been discussed in every way possible... again and again. Another example would be the math threads. Then there are also posts being made again which have already been made a while ago.
The latter doesn't bother me much as long as users don't post the same thing on a weekly basis. But the former does tend to get annoying (for me at least); this flooding of same-content posts.
The Escapist forum rules [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/codeofconduct] do not state anything specifically about double posting. So it is not like users are breaking the code of conduct. This post is not an appeal to the moderators or a discussing of those rules.
