I just try to remember what douches were again. English isn't my first language.

In French, "douche" literally means "wash". In English, a "douchebag" is something used to clean out a chicks vagina, so you can see now....

I'm English, so it's not as common an insult as it is in American for instance. I do like to use it as an insult in moderation, though. My cousin doesn't actually know exactly what it means, so I sling it at him when I want to playfully abuse him without really hurting his feelings. ;-)

not really following pop culture, and especially not reality shows nor am i a part of the club scene so all i know about the jersey shore and those kind of people are from the southpark episode, i would say a douchebag is anyone who acts in a incredibly rude way and seem proud of it, if you are just rude then you are a asshole.

Pretty much what this guy said, If you act incredibly rude to people and see it as a good thing, then you are a douchebag, there are guys at my school who smoke, drink, are disrespectful to everyone outside of their social circle, they are douchebags.

Also contrary to what a lot of people on this thread are saying, excessive working out isnt a trait of being a douche, if they constantly brag about their amazing pecs and deltoids, then they are being a douche, but theres nothing wrong with wanting your body to look the way you want it to look
