downgrading mass effect 2´s graphics

so, apparently, my computer is not good enough for mass effect 2, so i have decided to downgrade the games graphic. Where should i start?
Sorry for poor English...

There should be graphics settings somewhere in the options or settings menu, or when you install and run the game.

If your computer can't run it at all though, you aren't going to be able to run it well regardless of the graphical settings.
