well first dont be so greedy in downloading all of that at once. Be patient. As for speeding up downloading? It's really hard to do when you already take the fact of your ISPs allocation to you.

The only thing I have ever heard to really work is for browser downloading- and thats the Turbo feature on Opera 10. It is never really much, but it does what it can

Sad thing is, that is slow. I usually top around 35Mb/s download.

Northwest of you by about four hours, close to the lake. We live outside of Valparaiso, situated down a county road divided by a railroad.

Railroad means no cable as they won't string from the southern road nor will burrow under the rails (fiberwire.) So were stuck with DSL. Still beats a 56k though.

It's GTA4. It's 16 GB's! What do you expect? For them to be done in the hour? Ever heard of patience? I've waiting more than 2 days for games sometimes downloading at 250 kb/s.

16GB is nothing, but then again not everyone has an internet connection like I do.

What happened to your upload?

That is a huge discrepancy between download and upload speeds.

Also limitations on the server you choose to test with has a lot to do with what you see on that site, at least it does with a lot of the higher speed connections.

There used to be one in Seattle that I could get 35Mb/s out of but the closer one only says 25-26Mb/s

hymm im downloading gta IV tight now i started last night at about 04:30 its now 18:40 and im on 69%and the steam client is saying im downloading at almost 1.25 X my tested speed is

EDIT damn looking at that makes me think i cant moan at Telecom for slow speeds any more they must have boosted me or something

Don't download them all at once, that will bring all 3 to a near halt. Pause 2 of them and download each one individually.
