Download Tetris

Does anyone know where I can download Tetris? A free version for my laptop. I've been searching for awhile now and the only ones I found are awful rip-offs or are just limited time trial versions of the game, that at some point they expect you to buy the full version. Any help would be appreciated.

I use Gnometris [http://live.gnome.org/Gnometris], but only because it was already installed. It's free, entertaining enough. Don't know how well it works on Windows scratch that, the windows download doesn't seem to work, maybe compiling the source would, I dunno

A simple googlesearch will do the trick for you. Try 'tetris free download', the chance that you won't find a good free download on the first >9000 hits called 'download tetris free', 'free tetris download' or other extremely relevant sites are nihil.

just go to Addicting games or Fetch Fido you'll find a flash version

Could always play on tetrisfriends (I think that's the site). Maybe find a widget version?

Theres countless online.
Rip the .swf from a site and plonk it on your desktop.
We used to do that at college, get aload of flash games from sites we found, save the .swf to flash disks then when the site got blocked we still had all the good games from it.

My girlfriend gave me a version from a company called 'Crystaloffice'. It's quite bareboned. No T-spins or bonuses or anything. For the purists, no doubt.
