So I recently purchased Dragon Age Origins for my PC, and throughout the game I am being offered this DLC, quest givers will direct me to their website to pay for and download this content as well as a quest section in my log labled: Premium content. There was me thinking all the content in my game is premium? Or do I get DA:O if I send off enough tokens from the back of my cereal boxes?

Well before you think I am complaining about paying for extra content, I am not in fact I gladly pay for it. I was offered free content with my disc and I accepted it. I did the quest, took about half an hour and there is more quests for me to buy, my issue is however, why purchase these quests in dribs and drabs? I would much prefer them to release this content in an expansion pack rather than have them advertise >>UN MISSABLE ACTION PACKED CONTENT<< while I am bloody well playing the game I just bought! I'd rather not buy 30 minutes to 2 hours worth of content throughout 6 months, instead I'd rather wait those 6 months for a nice chunky expansion pack, that way when I sit down to re-play I have a lot of extra goodies to sink my teeth into. If I like DA:O enough to add to it I will gladly pay for the expansion.

My question is, do you guys as PC gamers prefer this pay as go DLC system that the consoles use, or would you rather have the old fashion expansion pack system? (Not to say they won't bring out an expansion)

Thanks in advance for any opinions, please don't refrain from informing me that I am just a whiney git with nothing better to do!
