Is it just me, or is it the original downloadable games on Wiiware, XBLA, and PSN that are really the most compelling titles in this generation of consoles?
Now that Noby Noby Boy has been released, I find myself desiring a PS3. And I really did care less about the 360, prior to Braid's release.
The first game I bought for my Wii? World of Goo. Followed by Art Style: Orbient and Art Style: Rothex, and Gyrostarr. I barely look at the boxes on the shelves, compared to the amount of time I browse upcoming Wiiware titles.
So, is it just me, or do others among us find the disc based retail games significantly less interesting than their downloadable competitors?
And what has been your favorite original download title of the past three months?
