Downloading and Xbox Live

I'm trying to download the latest map pack for Black Ops.

I use a wired connection from the 360 to a laptop to a wireless router.

The problem is, the 646 mb download goes at a snails pace and takes out the internet for the entire house.

How much bandwith does it freaking need?

1. Has anyone encountered this problem?
2. Is there any possible workaround?

That's just, wow.
I have a wireless connection for my router, it's about 100 mbps, and I can get 500-800 MB downloads done in about 1-2 hours.

I don't think I've had any problem with anything like Mass Effect before. Oh well.

My current solution is to just let the xbox run at 1 in the morning when no one is supposed to be on anyways.

It'll still be faster than PSN.

Because PSN will make me manually install it after downloading it, which takes forever for anything over 500 MB.
