Downloading from Amazon

As Amazon does not have an Australian Site and Battlefield 3 for the PC is cheap as a download from the American site at the moment, can I download the game even if I am in Australia?
Has anyone had any experience in this.
It says a American Address is needed, could a fake one be issued?

my understanding is, if you can find any us address and enter it in you can download it and play the game in any country
