Okay, I've waited a bit to see if any Dragon Age threads popped up so I could ask my question, but I haven't seen any and I don't feel like waiting anymore.
I am curious how I can tell if my Dragon Age Keep story transferred correctly into Dragon Age: Inquisition. I did the Keep, made the changes I wanted, saved it, and then clicked that little computer screen on the top right so it now has a green check mark.
However, when I go to the game screen and it asks, "Do you want to import a custom world?" I say yes and it just says, "Importing world..." for a few seconds and then it's done. There's nothing there that says, "Choose this world to import," or anything along those lines.
The reason I want to know is because I care about the story. I don't want to get really far into the game, only to find that the Keep didn't transfer right and that I'm using the "Default World," because I will start over at that point.
Has anyone hit a point in the game where they KNOW for sure that their story transferred? I've had hints, such as Anora being Queen, Anders being alive, and Belhen ruling the dwarves, but for all I know these are the default choices, not my choices. I've also come across something that really made me worry, and that is what happened to Merrill. Varric says that she is with what's left of her clan, and she's keeping them out of the war.
This is not what Merrill should be doing. First of all, I left her clan in tact, so it shouldn't be "what's left." Second, my Merrill was with Hawke, and I thought she'd stay with Hawke. Or is this just something that happens?
Has anyone had encounters or decisions show up that they know worked from their Keep? About how far into the game do I need to get before I come across something? Please keep spoilers to a bare minimum. I'm really looking for just little things, like the blacksmith saying that King Alistar is in charge if you didn't do the Keep, versus Anora if you did the Keep.
