I don't know, it was exactly like Origins, just faster. You click on the dude your attacking, and Hawke attacks them with standard attacks, and you can select powers from the bar at the bottom.
I just wish the [sub]loading...[/sub] thing wasn't in the demo. That shit's annoying.
Huh? Did everyone else have it too? Does this mean my computer doesn't suck?
But yeah, it was pretty annoying. Am I the only one who thinks that the "closing in"-basic attack can be exploited? You can just jump between enemies, and they wont hit you. They always flinch, and with a two handed weapon you will do small AoE damage. I just bounced my warrior back and worth until able to use a skill, and then start the bouncing again.
Also, the Ogre can be defeated rather easily. Only thing you have to fear is the melee attack; I used Bethany to barrage it with magic, and with (warrior) Hawke I closed in, delivered few attacks, and went away. When you are out of it's melee range, it will either hurl a rock or try to ram you. Both are easily avoided, given how fast your character is. While it's hurling the rock/recovering from the ram, you can go and hit him again.
Not necessarily saying I'll play that way, but it just seems to be easy to take advantage of the new system.
