Who is this Fenris person and how have I played for 52 hours, finished the game and never once met him??

You meet him in Act 1 during the side quest, Bait and Switch.

he's part of a side quest, if you progress too far in the main story without doing it you can miss it. he annoyed me a bit anyway, you didn't miss much.

He is missable and so is Isabella. I think they are the only 2 that you can manage to miss. Sebastian as well but you would have to go out of your way to miss him. Unless of course you don't have the Exiled Prince, then you aren't getting him regardless.

I never heard of Sebastian either

Kinda sucked, I only had one warrior and rogue to pick from for most of game due to certain events.

Aha... that makes sense. I skipped that quest as the guy seemed dodgy and it was making Aveline and Carver mad at me.
