For those of you concerned, there are no spoilers, so feel free to read on.

I have beat Dragon Age: Origins twice now, getting both endings regarding the finale boss. My question is, does anyone here get an ending where it tells what happens to each one of your party members? I thought the first time I beat it I skipped it because the ending suddenly went back to telling me about Redcliff, so the second time I set the controller down, but all I got was "Lylani's companions went there seperate ways, except Leliana, who stayed with her love for a time." Morrigan gets her own text, but no one else. I've read on the internet that each character can have multiple endings, but I've never seen any.

Has anyone ever gotten an ending where it tells what happens to each person, and if so what did you do? Or is my game just glitched.

there are 3 endings regarding the final boss.

1. You die
2. Allistair dies
3. Noone dies

as for the rest, I'm not sure, completing their quests should no doubt unlock their ending blurbs. I found that all of my choices in the main story lead to peoples problems even if I didn't intend it to.

I've finished it once and I got "Gone separate ways, except Alistair who ruled as King blah blah blah, and Leliana, who mounted an expedition to the Urn blah blah blah but you didn't kill the dragon so they mostly failed. Morrigan blah blah.."

So they do get some changes, depending on little bits of the story.

Actually there is a 4th ending where...
Loghain dies (if you spared him)

Oh, I know about all the endings. Who kills what and how and all that. I just meant it in regards to trophies/achivements. And I did do everyone's personal quest, which is why I find it odd that I don't get "personal blurbs". Have other people?

iirc, allistair and loghain dying is basically the same ending

if that's wrong, then I stand corrected, and it's 4.

I think it should pop up in the end, where you read about all the crap happens. It just changes depending on your choices.

There are 4 ending achievements in the PC version.
1 for the dark ritual, 1 for the wardens death, 1 for Alistair's death, and 1 for Loghain's death
And the epilogue can change dramatically depending on what you chose.

i think it also depends on your romance option as to whether you find out about certain characters in the epilogue or not. I find it a little irritating that you don't find out in more depth about the characters you've grown so attached to, but not as irritating as i found the Awakening epilogue, or the expansion in its entirety.

There are many different endings that I am aware of:

Warden:
1) Both the PC and his companion Warden survive
2) Either the PC or one of his companion Warden's dies (Alistair of Loghain)

Throne:
1) Alistair takes the throne alone
2) Alistair takes the throne and marries the PC (female only)
3) Alistair takes the throne and marries Anora
4) Anora keeps the throne and marries the PC (male noble human only)
5) Anora rules alone
6) The PC rules alone

Leliana
1) Leliana opts to join a chantry expedition to the Urn of Sacred ashes
2) Leliana stays with the PC for a time (if romanced and her personality was hardened after her quest)
3) Leliana is dead (if she was present during Urn of Sacred ashes and you chose to defile urn)

Sten
1) Sten Returns to his homeland a hero
2) Sten returns to his homeland and is executed (if you did not complete his personal quest)

Oghren
1) Oghren stays on the surface and travels with the PC for a time
2) Oghren stays on the surface and hangs out

Morrigan
1) Morrigan leaves the PC and is later spotted elsewhere, clearly pregnant
2) Morrigan leaves, ritual unfulfilled

Zevran
1) Zevran hangs out in Ferelden
2) Zevran is dead (if his standing was not high enough during his crisis moment)
3) Zevran journeys with the PC for a time

Wynn
1) Wynn stays and offers counsel to the ruler (if said ruler is Alistair or PC)
2) Wynn returns to circle tower
3) Wynn is dead (if she was present during Urn of Sacred Ashes and the player chose to defile ashes)

What I think you heard is the end sequence to Awakening, in which it does tell a brief summary of what happened to each character

How it's meant to work:
* Final battle in Dragon Age: Origins
* Cutscene
* You're in the throne room and you can talk to everyone breifly, discuss your plans for the future. I can't remember if you walk out the door or talk to someone to finish this step.
* There is an ending screen with pictures and text descriptions of what happens of the immediate future for various factions in the game and many of the characters. I think this always mentions who is now the ruler of Fereldan and should mention all your companions.

It possible you cancelled this or missed it? I didn't think there was any way to miss this screen but you might have not really noticed it and it's certainly not a detailed ending.
Maybe load if you have a savegame in that final room and look around again?

I'm also pretty sure Wynne attacks you/dies if you side against the mages in the Mage quest and keep her in your party for the decision, and Shale dies if you side against the Golems when she's in the party
