Dragon Age: Origins - Achievement Bug

So, I'm here to discuss the bugged DA:O Achievements, Blight Queller (kill 500 Darkspawn) and Master Warden (kill 1000 Darkspawn).

The basic problem is thus: the latest patch for Origins has bugged the Darkspawn kill counter and as a result I can't score either of these achievements. Apparently to fix it I have to clear my Xbox 360's cache but I'd like to know a few things first. I'm sure doing this will cause my DLC to stop working but will clearing my cache delete all the patches I have for my games? Will I be able to score the achievements by replaying the Battle of Denerim multiple times?

Any help would be appreciated.

Just looked it up and the current patch is 1.04, though people have been having issues with the achievements since 1.01. Looks like I've only got one option. Off to try it now.

Okay it's done. Took about an hour to do by going through and reloading at the Alienage at the battle of Denerim. I averaged 60 kills per go-through so it took me approximately sixteen goes.

Unfortunately, clearing my system cache has deleted all patches, reset all settings for all my games.

Looks like I've got my work cut out for me.

Damn that's unthinkable. Though I just checked and all my specializations have come back which is something. Now all that's left is to re-patch my games and go through the settings, though I don't tamper with the defaults in most games.

Well, I managed to beat the game with one of them. So theres some consolation. I do love the game. And I'm gonna try to get through it once more on the PC before DA2 comes out. Good luck tweating the settings.

CANT WAIT!!! That'll be the best week ever. I get DA2, and I get to go to PAX east that weekend. Man, I played through on the PS3, so yeah. Im gonna hve to finish at least one game on teh PC before release. I dont like warrior much, I find it boring.

Yeah, rouges are the most fun to play, I think. That or Arcane Warriors. Those are pretty sweet. I played through Awakening as one. I beat the story with a Dalish Rouge, daul wield, deulist, ranger, and Im not sure what the third was.
