I selected not to release Sten because I didn't want to piss off Alistair by threatening the drumb priest at the Chantry and somehow I totally missed Leliana. I also killed Zevron when the group of thieves attacks you randomly. I know at the end of the game I will have to split up my party. I was wondering if anyone knows what happens if the only people in your party are Alistair, Morrigan, Wynne, Dog, and Orghen. Can you still finish the game?

Thanks guys.

Can you finish it? Yes.

I believe though without some party members more civilians will die and there will be more reinforcements for your Warden to fight off in the main part of the battle. Other than that it's doable. I know some people on the Bio forums have killed off pretty much everyone in the party and still completed the game.

I have no idea, it probably wont effect much though. You play as the other group for a tiny part of it, which is easy. (just spammed the column of fire/ice/electricity)

You will have enough guys, 4 in your team and 3 in theres.

I will post saying that given the free presents you get given by that trader in your camp, you can make your entire party hate you or love you very very easily, just spam them with the stuff they like or the stuff they hate.

Each item goes 50 each way, so 2 or 3 items is max one way or another.

You can finish the game by having even only Alistair. Nothing happens, you just can't see them in the prologue. Still...Sten is so much fun and you could have picked the lock. Sad that you let him be killed.

Then again, Alistair was one of my most disliked characters and I had -10 influence with him constantly. I don't understand why people like him and don't want to upset him.

Leliana was in the tavern. And if you refuse her, right outside Lothering, by the stairs.

Never did that, but it's quite doable as long as you have a full party for battling the big bad/final dungeon. Holding the gate mught be tricky, but there are a lot of NPCs there as well, and with all the characters present it's typically a massacre.

Honestly though, you might have been blowing through the game and ignoring sidequests and any exploration at all, because Leliana should join you in the Inn at the very first town/village you come to (the same one as Sten).

Also with Leliana in your party she can broker his release without any real problems, as long as your willing to take responsibility for him. You don't need a rep hit with Alistair.

You can finish the game by having as few party members as you want, the only thing that happens is you miss out on some conversations and quests that your party members are part of and you limit your combat opportunities by having fewer party members and thus fewer fighting styles.

Still, Sten and Zevran were two of my favorite party members, you're missing out on the fun of talkting to them, if nothing else.
