I'm not sure if I have this particular pre-order item or if mine is different, but the "Memory Ring" I got for pre-ordering doesn't have any text and doesn't appear to modify any stats, so I've never been certain what it does (looking it up would take away valuable time I could be spending playing Dragon Age!).
And before you (probably don't) ask, I'm only posting right now instead of playing Dragon Age because I'm stuck at work with a crappy PC that can't run it (also playing games is more obvious goofing off than forum posting).
