So, we all know how much Bioware likes to import save games yes? I had a cool idea if a Dragon Age 3 ever rolls around.

Since Hawke is going to be voiced in DA2, I had the idea that if you import your DA2 game into DA3, Hawke becomes a party member for a new character.

The actions you take with Hawke in DA2 could affect his personality in DA3, and how Hawke would react to the Dragon Age 3 character.

Cool idea?

I haven't played DA (really really want to though) but if you bothered to have that character in the 3rd game in the first place why make it exclusive only for those have have an importable save game?

As for the players actions of DA2 affecting how Hawke is in 3? That'd be damn cool.

Well, Bioware could always do like they did with Mass Effect 2, giving new players a preset story if they don't have the first game. That way, if Hawke is guaranteed survival in DA2, then a preset version of him will be there for people who only have DA3.

And that's assuming that Hawke is included in DA3. Or have I missed some giant slap in the face moment? (no sarcasm, I'm honestly wondering if I have. And if I have, I apologize.)
