OK, this may seem to close to my last review of <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.189372-Dragon-fire-Reviews-Neverending-Light>Neverending light, so, if you have any complaints, direct them towards Brad Shepard, he is forcing me to make this. Blame him.

First thing, if you value your sanity and having your bowels stay in the same place, do not play this game. I repeat, do not play this game. Well, i warned you.

Yeah, this review may have really small spoilers in it... then again, it might not, your move pal.

Now this is a game that's been recommended to me by Leon Lethality, and i use the word recommended very loosely, she warned me not to play it, but i did anyways, and now ill never be the same again.

Naww, such a sweet and happy game... its all lies

Eversion is that game of the day, and its what i shall be reviewing for you all.

All the details of who made this game and such are on that picture, so i don't need to mention them.

Ill move straight onto the plot, the plot, is a fairly standard one, go to point A to point B, killing enemies, collecting gems and rescuing your "Princess". That is the plot in the game, it isn't explained why your doing this, or who you are, all you know is your a little flower-man who wants to get to the other side of this level and nothing will stand in his way. NOTHING!

The game play for Eversion is... pretty straight forward at the beginning, run around, collecting gems and stomping on enemies, then, you find what i like to call an "Eversion Point", which you will press the Evert button, and have your screen change before your eyes, its in a quit flash but its still before your eyes. Yes, your little flower-man-thing has the ability to alter and change the dimension your in. Sounds confusing, its not really, its one simple button and certain places.

Now, that is all the game play, but that isn't what spectacular about this game, the thing i would say is the best part about this game, is the entire experience that this game provides, is by far, the best part. Whether its each dimension shift changing the game slightly, whether its each dimension having its own special music ranging from nice and happy to nothing but a heart beat. I would mention the best thing, but it would ruin some of the experience for you if you wanted to play it.

This game... Oh man this game, will follow me forever, you cannot just see the endings, you have to experience it all for the endings to have any impact on you.

I will have to show a link to all of you that are interested in this game, which to be honest, i would be too, but i do have to issue more warnings, yeah, just don't play it, that's easier.

Ok, I'm guessing your sure, here's the link

Good luck with that... But if you play this game, make sure you get both endings...

This game is not going to get a score, since it doesn't deserve one... But yeah, play at your own risk, you have been warned.

<spoiler=Final Thoughts>Oh God, the hands, the hands!

<spoiler=Other Reviews>Ive so far done:

A fairly decent review - I have to admit, though, its rather cryptic nature has made me want to go play the game. This really didn't come off so much as a review as it did a teaser.

So, someone beat me to a review of this game? You're a little less subtle than I would have been...
I would have thrown a circumspect and unexplained Nietzsche quote in somewhere.

Nonetheless, I certainly can't fault the review, and I agree that I personally enjoyed this game...for a certain value of the word, of course.

I convinced him to review it since I was too lazy to review it myself, it's my fault he played this game >.<

I loved Eversion. Even donated a few bucks to get the HD one. Been through it a few times. The revamped final level of the more recent versions is neat - there's a few ways to get through it, including one eversion point I didn't see mention of in any of the walkthrough/let's plays I'd seen.

I have unfortunately already played this game and cannot be saved by your warning. That said, it's a good review overall.

To other readers: this game gets fucked up. Seriously, even with the cartoony graphics it's going to leave more scar tissue and scabs than most other games.
