Dragon Quest"ion"

I have a question regarding Dragon Quest 4,5, and 6. I own the DS remakes of 4 and 6 and plan on getting 5 eventually. 5 used to be a rare find but I think it got a reprint recently.

Anyway, I read that 4,5,and 6 comprise the Zenithian Trilogy. I was wondering how much the games were related and if it would be beneficial to play them in order, or does it simply not matter? The reason I ask is I'm considering starting up 6 pretty soon and might be awhile before I can grab 5.

The order doesn't really matter, but I'd advise you to play 4 & 5 in any chronology and then tackle 6. 6 is essentially the finale.

Thanks, I guess I could start up 4 in the mean time. I actually own the original NES cartridge of 4 as well as the remake, but never beat it considering I was so young at the time. It will be quite nostalgic.
