And no one knows there is a bass player anywhere in the mix. He could stand there, do nothing, and the song would never change.

Apart from the bass player does out of key backing vocals so you know he is there, just not in a good way.

Having said that I have heard (from DF fanboys but still) that the band is getting better live. They might be okay then.

Also

Dream Theater and Manowar are probably the only half decent power metal bands.

I am quite confused, how are Dream Theater power metal?
