I'm getting really irritated with this at the moment... The Wiki of this game states that the classes gain new skills and abilities. But there is no link nor page to show you them. The wiki only links you to the default/original games classes and abilities etc.

And due to the idiotic mechanic that the developers put in that bases levelling on vocation I cant play this game until I find out what the new skills are. Because im not going to waste 100+ hours of my life on a a game only to find out that once I install "Dark Arisen" that the Warrior or Sorcerer class are now way cooler and can summon dragons or some crap.

I've typed "Dark Arisen new abilities" into YouTube, Google, Wikipedia and not a single result came up out of any of them.

So what are the new skill trees? Are they going to update it in this Wiki's class/vocation pages or do I seriously need to spend $40-60 just to find the skill trees in the manual? (Which may not even have them in it).

These developers have no idea how to handle DLC. You dont say "This DLC gives the game new mounts" and then not show the mounts anywhere on the internet. Im not paying money just to find something out. Thats like eBay having a shirt for sale for $60 but there is no picture or description of it. Just the name "Shirt". No size or anything and the only way to find anything out is to pay $60 for it and then find out.

Ridiculous.
--------------------------
Or is it possible I am missing something? Does the game mean something else by "New abilities"? Because I assume "New class abilities/skills" means exactly what it sounds like...

I have posted this topic in five forums and I havent gotten a single reply that was on the topic.

This is incredibly stupid. It's just so annoying.

The only things I can find are:
? A massive new underground realm to explore featuring over 25 new enemies

More skills/equipment/augments:
Level 3 Skills
Provides each character class with a new tier of skills, giving players new devastating abilities and skills to master
Over 100 pieces of new equipment
All new high level weapons and armour sets for players venturing into the underground caverns
14 new character/Pawn augments
New tiers of equipment enhancement
Increased character customisation options
Item appraisal
Option to select Japanese voice over
Probably just more of the same, but better skills to tackle harder new areas.

This is seriously irritating. I cant even play until I get this info because I dont want to redo a bunch of a quests over and over. I cant believe the Devs are so bad at this. Dont they understand how advertising works? You show off new content. You don't just announce something and expect people to hand over their wallets. Show me what the hell im paying for...

Well I'm not sure what there is to say here on the topic. I think you covered it all. Sounds rough but I'm sure you can wait til launch day and players will be updating it on the go.
It's already out. Thats the issue... It makes no sense that there isnt any info anywhere...

Uhm, it comes out in the US 23rd. Thats 20 odd hours away still. The Skills description, which is admittedly very loose and not apparently in any teasers, just sounds like it'll give you a third upgrade of stuff. So you'll Frigor-High Frigor-Ulimate Frigor, or whatever.

It's not even been released in a lot of places. The wiki and forums rely on user input, meaning that other people have to play the game and find the new stuff. Calm your titties and wait a bit.

The new skills, from what I understand, are all 3rd tier skills (ex. High Ingle becomes Grand Ingle), but there are also brand new augments. It's also rumored that when they rebalanced the skills, they greatly nerfed the 2nd tier skills in order to keep the 3rd tier skills balanced with the game's content. However, there is a change log for much of the original game, but not all (the developers want us to find the rest).

Player
-Various attacks and skills for all weapons have been rebalanced for all weapons.

Enemies
-Made the Ur-Dragon corpse's collision boundary smaller so players can now pick up drop items more easily
-Undead enemies will now come out of the ground with higher defense stats (super armor mode)
-When Saurians die after being knocked down, they will now use a special death animation for when they are on the ground.
-Goblin Shamans will appear in the Witchwood.
-Eliminators will appear on the Tainted Mountain.
-Pyre Saurians will appear on the Tainted Mountain.
;-Golden Knights and Silver Knights will appear in the Everfall (before the destruction of Gran Soren).
-Gorecyclopes (condemned type) will appear in the Shadow Fort.
-Living Armor will appear in the Catacombs.
-Wyverns (strong type) will appear at Bluemoon Tower.
-Wyrms (strong type) will appear at the Watergod's Altar.
-Drakes (strong type) will appear in the Everfall after the destruction of Gran Soren.

Pawns
-Adjusted how often pawns will talk by spacing out less important lines; in effect, making them seem to talk less.
-Adjusted and balanced the equipment and skills of all of the high-level pawns that are available to a player when they're playing offline.
-Adjusted how much it costs to hire a pawn that is higher-leveled than yourself down to a more realistic scale.
-Added a Monthly ranking to the pawn's Top Ranked section.

NPCs
-You will not gain Affinity with Assalam simply by talking to him anymore.

Items & Equipment
-Adjusted how much Ferrystones cost and how much they sell for. (Purchase price: 20000 >5000 | Sell price: 3500>1250)
-Adjusted how much Premium Rings and Premium Earrings cost. (Purchase price: 1,500,000>150,000 Rift Crystals | Purchase price 3,000,000>300,000 Rift Crystals)
-Tweaked stat increases for weapon upgrades (increases weaker upgrades, decreases ones that were too strong). Tweaks affect 68 different weapons.
-Dramatically increased base stats for 12 weapons obtainable by defeating the Dragon.
-Improved base stats for 10 Magick Bows

World
-A Portcrystal that allows players to return to Cassardis has been added just outside Cassardis's gate
-A character/warp point that allows players to travel between Bitterblack Isle and Cassardis has been added to Cassardis's pier.
-Added a removable Portcrystal to the following areas: The Gran Soren Everfall (before a certain plot point. . . .), The Shadow Fort, The Witchwood, Hillfigure Knoll.
