Dragons Lair on Blu-ray

So i've seen this on the shelves at best buy from time to time and for some unexplainable reason i never picked it up. I've been searching forums about its compatibility with the ps3 and have found mixed results from board to board. I was wondering if anyone from the escapist has actually picked it up and has played it on the on the ps3. Some common complaints i've read vary from off control schemes to a recent ps3 update that flat out blocks the game and renders it unplayable past the first level... any info would be very appreciated.

I have Space Ace. Everything about it is awesome, there is no lag when switching scenes at all and you can use the controller with it, but it freezes in the same spot every time(near the end in Bort's Lair. Weird, because you can watch it straight-through "movie-version" fine. Don't know if Dragons Lair is the same, but if I were you I'd wait for DL2: Time Warp. It's better anyway.

Yea..classics a classic tho. I just sorta HAVE to have it. SO what are the control scemes? D-pad and x for action?

I don't think I have the reflexes anymore to do the timing of the joystick to play Dragon's Lair. And this from someone who had gotten to where I could win the game on one quarter and all of my lives still left back in the arcade days.

Yup i remember running this game with half a dozen ppl looking over my shoulder back in the day.
