Drakensang Out Next week

I know some of you played the German version when it was released last year, but for those of you that didn't or are looking to double dip, you going to be picking this up next week?

Comes out on Tuesday next week and will be a definite purchase for me. Gamershell has a demo up to give you a little taste of the game:

It's a classic RPG based on The Dark Eye rules system that was released (to a ton of success) last year on Germany.

I loved the Northlands Trilogy back in the day. I'll definately check this out.

Played the demo a while ago now... the game rather amuses me. On the one hand, it seems rather solidly built and designed for an RPG from an obscure developer (the quality is consistently high on the whole, with the exception of the wooden character animations).

However... the plot and dialogues are so unbearably cringeworthy that I could not stand to play it for longer than ten minutes or so. I can't imagine why anyone would want to play such painfully cliched high fantasy.

I didn't find this cliche at all, in fact it's been getting pretty good scores across the board, IGN just came out and gave it a 7.6
