You are hosting a dinner party and can invite three guests. These can be from any walk of life and it doesn't matter if they are alive or dead. Please explain answers.

My choice:

Charlie Brooker - He is an absolute genius and I agree with virtually everything he's ever said/written.

Bill Hicks - I love his extreme comedic views and it would be great to hear his opinion on my next guest.

Richard Nixon - Probably one of the most controversial people to have been in power of the US. A troubled genius who could have been one of the greatest leaders to have ever lived.

Only three? Aww... D:

Bill Hicks - one of my greatest idols.

Stephen King - I'm an aspiring horror writer, and he's my favorite author. So of course I'd wanna chat with him. XD

Shel Silverstein - Because he was awesome all over.

Yea, it's basically my three idols in life.
The vocalist for Bad Religion and Professor of Life Sciences at UCLA. An intelligent, opinionated and talented man whom I respect and admire greatly. I'd love to discuss anything with him.

The Black Flag vocalist turned TV presenter, Stand Up Comedian, and more. I saw him perform live and if he's anything like he is onstage then he's a witty and inspiring bloke with some interesting opinions, ideas and stories.

An incredibly talented musician, the primary songwriter, vocalist and guitarist of Megadeth. Again, he'll come with some amazing stories and I'd love to talk to him about music, guitars and how to be as amazing as him.

1.) Vladimir Putin because he's awesome.
2.) Nikola Tesla for the same reason as Putin.
3.) And Frank Herbert because he's my favorite author.

I think that it would be an interesting dinner party. May not be great, but definitely interesting.

Joe Strummer (vocalist/frontman of The Clash, RIP) - he made punk rock what it is, inspired millions with his music and his attitude. He was smart, talented and a gift to the world
Howard Jones (Lead vocalist of Killswitch Engage) - Killswitch are the kings of metalcore and he's an hilarious guy
The Rev (Drummer of Avenged Sevenfold, RIP) - he was a massive inspiration to me as a drummer. I cried when he died

Damn, only 3?? That's a difficult choice! Ok, umm...

Marco Coti Zelati - he really inspires me. He's a talented bassist, composer and artist (as in drawing, yadda yadda). Plus, he's an excellent laugh, and is very clever, so he'd be great conversation.

Daniel Defoe - excellent writer, I adore his books.

Cristiano "Criz" Mozzati - my favourite drummer, ever. He's also extremely awesome, more than cool, and we get along so well that I'd want to spend a lot more time with him!

Definitely Terry Pratchett, he would be really interesting to talk to. Johnny Depp too, I'd love to get some sort of insight into his mind and how he deals with the sorts of characters he portrays (I'm very interested from both a film-maker's point of view and an actor's point of view...). Finally, maybe Phil Collins. I would ply him with beer and good food, then entice him into teaching me the ways of the drummer... :D

And for entertainment, if I can add people for that, I'd certainly hire the best indie and alternative rock and folk artists to hit the UK in the past few years, getting in the likes of Florence Welch, Mumford and Sons, and Warpaint, to play a massive joint set. Then probably Eiko Shinamiya to finish. I've just been listening to various remixes and the original version of Naraku No Hana on repeat for the past hour or so... :p

Not a lot of people pay attention to the OP, huh? :p

Stephen Fry - I love him, his charm, his voice, his sense of humour. I'd hump his leg and he'd run away screaming.

David Bowie - Again, the voice, and he can play me sweet music. :D

Probably Terry Pratchett, I'd love him to tell me a story :)

Greatest. Dinner Party. Ever.
THIS MAN JUST SAID IT.

But, personally I'd replace Vonnegut with Guillermo del Toro.
Other than that, fuck yeah!
