I think any name starting with the word "the" is just pure awesomeness, and no there are no prizes for guessing what my name would be :)

I think my dream name would have to be
John Hacket
Hacket because it is names after one of the greatest chracters in the history of television (Father Jack Hacket from Father Ted)
And John because....it just seems like a cool name

My actual name is the Scots version of the same root as one of Odin's ravens. Figure that one out, mofos.

I've thought for some time that Siegfried was fairly epic, as names go. Something like Siegfried Tarquinas Burton.

Names Which Are Right Out:
Jethro Q. Walrustitty

Tarquin Lim Bim Wim Tim Bim Bus-stop Ftang Ftang Ole Biscuit Barrel

Malcolm Peter Brian Telescope Adrian Umbrella Stand Jasper Wednesday *pop* *pop* Stoatgobbler Raw Vegetable...Smith

Raymond Luxury-Yatcht

Eric Praline

and Tim.

I want a run of the mill name! My name is pronounced Joro, but it's spelled Zhoro, so everybody in school is calling me Zorro and is doing that Z sword umm.....thing. You have no idea how frustrating it can be! And I can probably imagine, people will be addressing me as Zorro on this forum from now on!

I know it can be annoying, but you can find something about all names. When I was smaller people used to call me gorm orm (orm meaning snake). But I think my name is cool now.

My name is Gorm, which I like because not many people have that name here in norway. Gorm, as like, the viking.
That`s totally awesome in my book. I bet it is useful too, your friends can say: "Don`t f@#$ with me or I`ll call my friend Gorm and he`ll f@#$ you up."
haha xD Well its not exactly like that obviously, but people remember me thats for sure.

There was a girl in NZ not long ago who had to go to court to demand the right to change her name to something other than "Tallulah Does The Hula From Hawaii" (she hadn't turned 18).

As others have said here, you can be glad your parents didn't name you something weird, it can be a stigma for a young person, even if you might think it would be neat NOW. :)

That being said, there are a lot of interesting names out there that just don't get the attention they deserve... Mine would be Quill.

Axel would have been a great name.
Zachary, or "Zach" would be pretty neat too.

My dream name? Stanley Morrison, just because it sounds pretty cool in my opinion.
I sometimes think my name is boring and overused, but then I see like, one person with the same name in the whole school of... about... I dunno, over 400 kids.

I never name things like game characters after myself, I give them the first thing that comes to me, or I get an idea.
My Rock Band guitarist is called Jonas because I was making him with my brother, and I said 'OK... My name is..." and he said 'Jonas.'. I thought it'd be quite funny.

speaking of names.. I heard on a sitcom that your "Stripper Name" is your first pet, and the street you grew up on.

which gives me the most hilarious stripper name of all

Tuffy Simkin
Hehe, Will and Grace is the best. It was actually your transvestite name. Mine would be Domino Garfield.
Or pornstar name, it varys by source.

But mine wins forever-

Fluffy OldWood
Lets see, under that formula my name would be ...

Salty Thunderbolt.

By that formula, dear God...
Queen Elizabeth Vintage...

Also, my actual name translates to "cutter of cloth." And all of the other Taylors in the world are hiding in countless bodies of little girls, hiding in classrooms, grocery stores, public parks, and hanging out around me. Then, when someone yells, "Taylor!" 50+ people all turn and look at the same time.

And you know what signed my fate over to this land of ridicule, pain, and 35 little girls running at their mothers' beck and call? Soap Operas [http://www.soapdom.com/content/view/1937/87/]! Freakin' soap operas!
