Dreamcast games

The Dreamcast is one of the most underrated video game consoles to date. Because of the ever looming release of the Playstation 2, the Dreamcast never had the life it deserved. The console was ahead of it's time by so many years with features such as online support, smooth looking 3D graphics and a controller that rivals the Xbox's Duke controller (they are both big is what i'mk saying)...

Like many nostalgic gamers, I still have my Dreamcast, but it has been collecting dust as of late because I don't have anymore games to play. I've either beaten them all or lost interest because of a high difficulty.

Long story short, I want you to recommend me some games for the Sega Dreamcast...

Here are the games I have so you don't repeat them

Soul Calibur
NBA 2K
NHL 2K
NFL 2K
Phantasy Star Online 1 and 2
Unreal Tournament
Metropolis Street Racer (hardest racing game ever)
Dead or Alive 2

Even if you had a I'm not sure how much good some of the best Saturn games would be to you.

The Shenmue series was fantastic (even with its liberal use of quicktime events), and Skies of Arcadia was great, if you're into JRPGs.

I can't really think of anything to add to that. If you think the Dreamcast was underrated before played those then you'll really think that after you have.

Ohhh man yes. That game is epic. Me and a couple of friends are playing this game threw to gather and it is fun. It is also easy to make fun of but it is still really fun

There is another thread about this somewhere but this one is nicer. Record of Lodoss War is a fun action RPG. Ikaruga, Rez and Bangai-O are fun shoot 'em ups.

Chu Chu Rocket. Its a lot of fun when playing with other people.
Same with Powerstone 1 and 2.

Powerstone 1 and 2 - Amazing fighting games
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - Too awsome to sum up in 1 phrase
Sonic Adventure 1 - Quite possably the only good 3-D sonic game ever made, Sonic adventure 2 was ok, but not as good.
Crazy Taxi - it is suprisingly fun and addictive.
Grandia 2 - I really enjoyed it, was my second JRPG I ever played
Jet Set Radio - so unique its awsome

If the Dreamcast could play DVD's, I'm sure it wouldn't have died as early as it did.

Off the top of my head, Power Stone 2 was this great combination of a fighting and party game. I wish they'd release that game for Xbox Live.

How do we know he has a PS3 or 360? I see no mention of either in his post, so there's no reason not to mention the best game on the console.

Since when is the Dreamcast underrated? I don't know any gamers who don't sing its praises.

Ecco: Defender of the Future is very, very hard, but has gorgeous graphics.

Shenmue's great, and you really ought to import Shenmue 2 if you can. There're always a handful of copies on eBay.
