So last night I hate this very vivid dream where I was back home with my parents for some reason, when I asked my mom to take me to the doctor because I didn't want to go alone. When I asked why, I rolled up my pant leg to show them strange marks all up and down my leg. Like warts or something and there was a huge black bulging one near my knee. My dream shortly ended after that as my alarm woke me up from my "Pre-Opening Credits House M.D. scene". When I woke up, I even checked my leg because I could have sworn I had them after having that dream, it was so vivid.

So I ask you, what are some intense dreams you've had? What are some of your worst nightmares? Best Dreams?

And if you don't dream or don't want to share, I'd say just don't bother replying since that would seem most sensible, yes?

the day before this semester, I dreamed that I missed school. It was 2 in the afternoon, and I had overslept or the bus crashed, I don't remember which. Everyone was looking at me like I had a weasel growing out of my face, and I was then informed that not only had I missed school, I had also missed finals. Which is funny considering I more or less aced my finals.

The scary part? Today, the bus was freaking 20 minutes late.

I'll give you one shitty one.

I'm following my dad and friend through some back allies, feels like it's a big city. There are some people around, but they're just standing around. Trash around, and a fire-in-a-trash-can with people huddled around it. The walls of these allies are all brick. They're graffiti'd with a certain character I know well on 'em a lot.

We make a turn and end up in a subway. It's white, as in super white. Clean as it could possibly be. We go to walk upstairs, but then we're stopped and soon surrounded by a bunch of people. Next some guy comes up behind us and raises a very clean, shiny silver gun, and points it at my face. He wants money before he'll let us by. I don't carry any money on me, and my friend doesn't have anything, so I turn to my dad. He's got nothing. I'm scared for my life. The guy with the gun looks like he's about to shoot, but he instead calls to some of his goons, then they grab me and take me into the bathroom...

Then I wake up. I think I was about to be tortured just before I woke up. Shit sucked. I was depressed all day because of that. It was the most realistic dream I've ever had.

I've got plenty. Me being stabbed in the spine after being chased through the woods by a girl I hate, one actually sending me an important message, one letting me know how fucked up I am, and one which inspired a symbol between my ladyfriend and I. Take your pick.

I was in the middle of my math exam, and I was suddenly a shark. No transformation, nothing. Then I ate everyone in the room, and the examination-person told me to sit down. Then I woke up, and changed my Facebook name and profile picture to a shark.

Most recent recurring nightmare. I'm nailed to a wall with about twenty pieces of half inch rebar. Everything is pitch dark, except for a light shining on me. I don't feel pain, just despair. Utter and complete despair, and a sense of having to do something but being completely unable to do so.

Sometimes, I'll try to pull myself free, and every time I do, I just get nailed back down with another piece of rebar.

...I do not dream well.

Good ones: -I have been having a series of vivid dreams for a good portion of my life that are all connected. I literally have a dreamgirl that I encounter in one dream every few years, each time in a different by mostly realistic situation. She has aged alongside me and has a fairly developed personality (at least, as my dreams present her). It's strange, but pretty cool.

-I also have the occasional "epic" dream; where I am on some amazing action-packed adventure and usually go lucid at some point to control what happens. I remember having one such dream when I was a kid where my friends and I were basically the x-men lol.

Bad ones: My subconscious seems to have figured out that I'm not really afraid of death or spooky things anymore, so it's shifted strategies to make my nightmares emotional rollercoasters about more realistic situations instead. Generally they're about me somehow being responsible for something tragic and horrible, like friends dying because of me, etc.

I once had a terrifying dream that I was locked in this house with a doll. The doll wasn't chasing me it just kept appearing, and I eventually got creeped out enough by it to observe it up close, it's eyes opened and they were human like eyes and it emitted this loud ungodly laugh.
I woke up and I thought I was having a damn heart attack.

Then I had an awesome dream that ended with me riding a giant tiger down a freeway, I don't remember what preceded that, but I'm sure it was equally as awesome.

I had a dream that people gave Kanye West a chance and he got the musical recognitation he deserved. That was a good dream, also had a dream where I went to a Prince concert which was pretty epic.

Hard to say, but a recurring theme in the not-good ones is being delayed by forces out of my control on my way to a place I WOULD have been on time to. Reflects my contempt for morons and slow people, and my punctual habits.

That just plain wins.

Nightmare for me. Just happened last night actually.

It was one of the most enjoyable dreams I've experienced in a long time. I was with my ex-girlfriend and we were just going through a normal day together, enjoying eachother's time, even got romantic at one point, when all was said and done, we were cuddling up together and I woke up.

I never want to think about her ever again because of what she did to me, yet a dream like this happened and I was filled with such happiness during it only to wake up and have reality slap me in the face.

I tend to have a lucid dream about Silent Hill every now and again. Both scary and amazing at the same time. They always start out the same. I "wake up" and go about my morning routine and as I'm going about my morning rituals I hear the all too familiar air raid siren and the floors and walls start peeling away to reveal the metal, rust colored, blood stained texture underneath. Then they usually end up with me fighting for my life in a Silent Hill-esq version of my town.

One of my dreams actually made for a good term paper, and I got to mention another in a speech with really amusing results.

Freud would have a field day with this stuff!
