Color me curious Escapees, but I want to know what it is everyone here feels comfortable in.

A previous thread about ideal partners brought about a side topic of looks, and how people are presented in the media.
So similarly I find myself thinking about what the media dictates as fashionable and it got me thinking.

Do you find yourself conforming to the trends of the current season or are you more likely to just stick on jeans and a t-shirt, fashion be damned?

Personally, I love head gear, anything eccentric will suit me just fine. In my little circle of friends, It would be noted as a trademark if you will.
My numerous articles give me a few looks, but nothing I really shy away from. If I see an outrageous hat, I have to have it & wear it.

As comfortable as I am in Jeans and a T-shirt, I'm much happier wearing a shirt, waistcoat, fancy pair of business like pants, and shoes so polished I can see my own reflection.
Most think I over do it, but I'm happy to wear those kinds of clothes for any reason really.
I find myself not needing an excuse.

What about you?

So any suggestions ladies?
Run around the a store that you normally wouldn't go into, somewhere with more "fashionable" items and find thing YOU like.
Make a suit or outfit out if it and cater to yourself, and your comfort.

Dressing to please other people leads to wearing shit you hate, don't do it.
Just find stuff you like, and customize and create something you like.

Screw fashion; I couldn't care less about it. All year round I wear the exact same sort of stuff: t-shirt, jeans, leather jacket. I also have a Jamaican hat that I sometimes wear for the hell of it. There are few things that make me stand out quite so effectively.

There is an Oscar Wilde quote for every occasion, and this is no exception.

Workboots, Jeans, band shirt, black hoodie.

I have an old biker jacket, but it's a little too heavy for summer

At home: Sweat pants and or stretchy waist shorts.

Outside: Jeans or jean shorts with a random T-shirt to go with it.

Nice quote, also, what do you mean by Jamaican hat? You have piqued my interest, are you talking about the Jamaican flag beanie?

Ps. I used to have you on my old MSN from when you where on G101 I think. xD

Pretty much whatever I feel comfortable with. Indie style in a sense, though usually it's just jeans and a T-shirt or jeans and a long sleeved sweatshirt, or my university hoodie. I do sometimes wear 3/4 length shorts in summer, though I'm slightly self-concious because I have really hairy legs (well, pretty much hairy all over really, except for my back for some strange reason... :s).

EDIT: When I'm going out somewhere fancy, or clubbing it, I'll usually wear jeans and a smart-casual shirt. I've got a really nice black one that I usually pick, looks pretty damn good :)

Late easter, winter and early spring outfit: Jeans, T-shirt, zip hoodie, socks, sneakers (or if my mommy gets her way, boots) and, if it's really cold while I'm outside, an overcoat-ish thing.
Otherwise: Shorts (unless it's cold or windy, then jeans), T-shirt, sneakers, socks and maybe a zip hoodie.

Was that in any way interesting?

EDIT:
As for colour, it's generally dark colours like black or blue for the jeans ,shorts and zip hoodie, and then white sneakers, black overcoat and finally the T-shirt, who can be pretty much ANY colour (Most often without prints).

I'm puzzled now. I don't have MSN, and I never have. You must have mistaken me for someone else. Of course, if I had been wearing my Jamaican hat you could never have mistaken me for anyone else!
That isn't actually mine, but it's pretty similar. You get the idea.

Feel the pain about shorts, but my legs are quite thin and I have large feet so my ankles & lower of my leg look ridiculous.
However, I do have some house lounging shorts for when the world is welcome to pass me by for the day.

I wear jeans always, no exceptions. A simple T-shirt if I'm going to the shops or something, or a smart-casual shirt if I'm going somewhere fancy.

Like Max, I tend to wear the same, or similar, outfits every day.

The only time I do not wear my black cashmere trenchcoat is when it is unusually hot.
In which case I wear a black blazer.
I usually wear black or white shirts underneath. Sometimes if I am feeling lazy, I will just wear a t-shirt.
On my legs, I wear jeans. Always. I have one black pair which I wear constantly, and like six blue that I wear when the black is in the wash.
Also, hiking boots.
And glasses, I suppose.

Note: All my clothes are bought second-hand.
You will not believe how much of a ***** it was to find my trenchcoat

Summer: Cargo shorts, T-shirt, a pair of black nike crosstrainers
Winter: Jeans, T-shirt, a pair of black nike crosstrainers, a jacket. If Im doing winter sports I wear the appropriate gear.

Ive been told I have an amazing fasion sense though, my family members usually drag me along if they're going shopping to get my opinion on things.

I'd love to own one, but I don't feel like I could get away with that.

I'm more of a top hat man myself, or my Trilby ^^

seriously, jeans go with every colour(color, I don't know where you're from), and black also goes with everything.

I will basically just wear jeans, and a T-shirt/shirt to any and everything possible. That said, I have recently found the comforts of tracksuit bottoms...

Hence why I have six pairs of black cargo pants, three long-sleeved black shirts that are nice enough for weddings, one long-sleeved black shirt that is more casual, and a few short-sleeved black shirts that look formal as long as you wear something over them.

Which I do.
Always.
Leather jacket, wool longcoat...
That is all I'm comfortable in.

Also, hiking boots.
Nothing else is ever comfortable, and I can never go out less than perfectly dressed.

I am thinking of adding a hat...perhaps a fedora.
Maybe a leather trenchcoat as well.
Excuse me sir, but do you inhabit the snowy peaks of the Hymalayas? I always thought it would be quite hot in Florida.

On topic, I usually wear a pair of jeans, a pair of Chuck Taylor All-stars, and a t-shirt, preferably of a band or singer I like. Don't use headgear at all.
