While the Escapist may not be a den of hardcore sports fans, I thought it might be fun to post this up and see what people say about it.
Drew Bress of the New Orleans Saints broke Dan Marino's single season passing record of 5,084 yards less than an hour ago. He now has 5,087 passing yards with one game to go.
To put this record in perspective, that is basically passing from goaline to goaline on a football field over 50 times. It was a 27 year old record that didn't seem like it would ever be broken. Congrats to Brees, a man who many thought would never play again after a serious shoulder injury roughly five seasons ago.
