A friend of mine's going to Vodka Revolutions tonight for her birthday. So probably a variety of cocktails.
It's called revs! Even if there are multiple revs in the city!

Nothing, I'm teetotal due to a health problem, before that my drink of choice was 2 shots of sambuca (raspberry preferably) over ice.

I use the full name online for extra clarity. Among my friends, it's Revs.

I'm currently buzzed on a mix of beer and cider.. it's good stuff ^_^
I believe that's called snakebite. At least it was when I were a lad.
It is indeed a snakebite.

Not drinking atm but on wednesday I got fucking hammered on bourbon and ale.
You did, you hardly remembered anything we did on FFXIV the night before...which is funny because you played fine.

OT: We don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but me and my family are stockpiling booze while its on offer for Christmas, doing my part, going to see if I can get 24 cans of Cider for 20 quid again.

Otherwise, wine, boatloads of wine.

Tonight, might continue with Persona Q and drink some cans of Kopparburg Strawberry & Lime while I do, good stuff son.
I distinctly remember everything I typed being a jibbered mess of cryptic symbols with no sense or logic but yet still playing like a complete beast. Otherwise I remember NOTHING!

I was even left wondering where I got the Storm Elite Coat of Casting from.

I'm not drinking this evening (so far), but I like to vary my poisons. However; I do have a favourite drink:

- 2 ounces of gin
- 5 ounces of ginger ale
- 1 ounce of lemon juice

Short glass, no ice.

Straight Up Shots of Gin will be my poison of the night, while my lady will be having Gin and Tonics.

As a recovering alcoholic, I no longer drink.

When I did drink though, there was nothing I'd rather drown myself with than whiskey.

I haven't gotten to drink in quite a while, but when I do I usually drink wine. Typically sweeter white wines.

Ooh you gotta try whiskey and ginger beer! If you like the sounds of that it's 1 part Johnny Walker Red and 3 parts ginger beer (any kind will do) and a little wedge of lime helps it too. Not a "girly" drink at all and it's so tasty! But I'm a scotch guy myself and I actually have to go on a beer run tonight. I'm all out...

I wasn't drinking them together, that sounds gross! I ran out of beer so I switched to my friend's cider. Thankfully I didn't drink quite enough to get a hangover this morning, but I was still pleasantly drunk.

I got drunk with vodka last night which prevented me from doing homework...I'm almost thinking about doing the same thing tonight...

Don't follow my example kiddos...

(I was actually only half-way drunk, I think I had five shots...)

Do both! I did once when I was younger. At the time, it was the best day in my life.

The results didn't really suffer that much, oddly.

Smithwicks. Lovely Irish red ale. That and Guinness are the only beers who's tastes I actually enjoy. Quite like a cider in Summer, but not at the mokent.
Spirits only when I really have to if I'm honest. Nice and discrete are their only real advantages, I had some really bad experiences.

Ah i thought the title of this thread was singing a part of the chorus of the wine song by the cat empire. Alas, it is not so!

Today i samples home made rum and home made jagermeister. Nice and herby.
Oh and a not so home made wine called Moszacta or something. It has "a lemon curd finish" if anyone has ever experienced it.

In my experience there isnt really a drink that makes people angry. As Gabriel mentioned on an old lets drown out; it depends what mood you go into drinking with. He is right. That also applies to most other substances too.

Captcha: Thats a fact jack. Oh lol to you captcha. Is it capable of sarcasm now??

Snakebite is actually pretty good, assuming that by beer you mean lager. I prob wouldn't mix ale and cider. I never got on with Snakebite and Black (cider, lager and blackcurrant) though.

In glorious booze news, I've made an acceptable red wine. For getting trashed, not for the dinner table. Unless you want to get trashed at the dinner table.
I was first introduced to snakebite in an irish bikers pub as i was friends the the ladys son. It was apparently the cheapest quickest way to get puddled. Which my brighteyed alcoholic young self found very enticing.
Dinner tables are the best places to try incredibly new unforgiving drinks! Drunk people and sharp objects should meet more often. And your wine shall be the catalyst!

I can't drink yet, as I am not of age and I happen to like the job that I have, but I'm fairly certain that if I ever did start drinking, I would become an alcoholic.

I tried a Long Island Iced Tea for the first time the other week. Oh, my god. I wish everything tasted like that.

Bleh, tomorrow I work so I need to be somewhat alive in the morning.
Tomorrow night, I think I'll drink some sake. I like hard liquor. Vodka, Tequila, Rum, Gin, etc.
I can't really stand beer though. The taste of copper is not appealing.

I really want zombies though. I love zombies.

Scotch on the rocks with a twist.

It's there when you want to feel a bit 'refreshed', it's there when you want to get hammered, it's there when you want to fit into any social environment and it's there when you're too lazy to make a cocktail.

Also, does anyone like a particular kind/brand of alcohol purely because of the emotion you attach to it?
I really like this brand of Indian(I'm from there) dark rum called Old Monk and I can swear on everything alive that almost everyone I know hates it. It's pretty bad quality wise but I never fail to have a good time when I drink it. My girlfriend won't even let me near her if I have Old Monk breath -.-

As an aspiring alcoholic, I'm drinking eggnog with more rum than eggnog.

Dook, dook, dook... *passes out*
