Drinking games

So saw this game from "Minute to win it" called "Dont blow the joker"


And I get the feeling this might become a popular drinking game. So it got me thinking on drinking games. My personal favorite is the one that made for the mini card game in Xenogears called "Speed"

So the question is what is your favorite drinking game. For added discussion points, what was your best drinking game triumph?

If I could drink I probably wouldn't. I was born with one kidney, so my body can't process alcohol like normal people can. If I am to ever consume alcohol, it will kill me. I'm not making this up. Regardless, I can still enjoy myself by receiving free soda at the bars I go to with my drinking friends. I also drive them all home.

Saving lives and free soda. It works for me.

However, I do see where people that have the ability to drink can enjoy themselves, and I do not want to dampen on their mood. Some of these drinking games, like this one, seem quite enjoyable.

That looks like a terrible drinking game. For starters where was the drinking.

Ring of Fire is the king of drinking games, seeing as it has lots of other games that you choose incorporated into it, and has the lovely dirty pint finale that all good games should have.

Centurion is a bloody good game as well. Have some sort of timer that will make a noise every minute, and whenever it dings have a shot and repeat for 100 minutes. Beautiful.

Drinking games involve drinking.... I just thought you should know. (At least the guy who posted above me noticed too!)

Try watching Strange Brew and taking a sip of beer every time they say: "Take Off" , "Hoser" , and of course the real threat "Eh".

The hour of power!

Using a video editing program you splice together 60 of your favorite clips from whatever you want (cartoons, movies, viral videos) they should preferably be things you enjoy. each clip must be edited so it lasts exactly 60 seconds. you should now have an hour long dvd. the idea is simple. everytime a new clip starts you take a drink. by the end of the hour you should have 60 gulps of whatever your drinking in your system and should be good and fucked up.

obviously beer is the preferable choice but if you think you can go the distance with spirits then god be with you sir.

Power Hour is weak. Go for the Century Club. 1 oz shot (of beer) every minute for 100 minutes. That's almost 9 beers in an hour and a half. If you make it to the end, you win another beer.

being the nerds that my friends and i are XD we have enjoyed the star trek: the next generation drinking game a time or two, the list of rules can be kind of daunting, so you just pick and choose which ones you want to follow...it can get pretty hilarious

9 beers in 90 minutes... 1 every ten mins... I've had nights like that. I like the next morning when you need an aspirin every minute for and hour and a half too!

As for the notion about dont blow the joker being a drinking game... it could be converted easily.. Say if you fail to blow them off in the time limit, you have to drink half of the bottle of beer.. If you blow the joker off you have to chug. Simple enough really.

Was always fond of the game president and asshole myself too.

I enjoy kings personally
put a deck of cards and take a card. each card has an objective of what you need to do. Jacks are always a ***** because you invent a rule. one time it was you could not say people's names if so you had to funnel the res of your drink. it turned into yelling insults aka hey dillhole!and even more offensive titles, across the table and hoping that the person you wanted to talk to looks your way.

I had an idea for a drinking game. Basically, you get a bunch of friends, a few bottles of booze and the latest science fiction movie. Then everyone takes a shot everytime someone in the movie defies the laws of physics or something explodes.

I doubt I'd ever do this though. But it's fun to tell people about.

I decided to invent a drinking game that involved guitar hero. Basically two players faced off in a duel, and each one had to have a tube/hose in their mouth which lead to a funnel, and each time you missed a note, a "judge" poured some beer or other alcoholic beverage down the funnel to the player who missed the note, thus forcing him/her to drink it.

People were pretty entertained by it.

The last game I did involves watching the fantastic film Black Dynamite.

Every time a character from the movie says "Can you dig it?" everyone takes a shot.

Big fan of my house rules Kings/Kings Cup depending on how you feel.

Sit in a circle with a deck of cards on the table, draw a card.
2-4: Drink for that many seconds.
4-7: Make someone drink for that many seconds (or divvy it up)
8: Questions: Ask someone a question, they must then pose a question to someone else, so on and so forth until somebody stumbles, says a statements or repeats a question.
9: Rhyme Tyme: Say a word, the next person in order must answer.
10: Commandments: Make a rule, all other players must follow that rule or drink if they break the consequences.
Jack: Thumb Master: Last person to put their thumb on the table loses. (Or Viking, where you make your hands into a Viking Helmut)
Queen: Social: Everyone drinks to the Queen, may she live forevah!
King: Waterfall: Everyone starts drinking. Once the person who pulled the card finishes, the person to their left may stop. Once that person stops, the person to their left may start, so on and so forth. (Or King's Cup: Everyone pours their beverages into a large cup in the middle. Person to pull the last King must chug the cup and be crowned King)
Ace: Categories: Name a category and then start naming things from said category. (If playing with alot of people, I like rivalry. Chose someone to be your rival, whenever one rival drinks, the other rival needs to match them.)

Did this with Requiem for a Dream. Every time a character took a drug, we took a shot. Happens far more often in that movie than you might initially think! Was quite, quite hammered by the closing credits...

Yes, that is awesome. I like the idea of a judge and how quickly that "honour" would get abused.

Also recovering mid solo whilst getting a pint poured into your face will just make it all the more fun.
