Happy birthday and Merry Christmas!
ah screw it, I'll make one of those non-disgusting mudder's milks on New years Ewe.
sounds a bit strong, but then again, Norewgians should be able to hold our liquer, if we didn't then what would be good for? apart from the obvious mating, cooking, pillaging, trading and of course our unrivaled abillity to create lists. But all that orange juice sounds abit sickening, probably because I don' t like orangejuice. Ah screw it again, I'll just go posh and make a Marteani.

You're a fan of Buffy, Firefly and alcohol. That gives you three massive ticks in my book.

Happy B-Day

NOT-DISGUSTING MUDDER'S MILK:
i can swear if you replace the jameson with 151 and light it on fire, you would have yourself an Irish Car Bomb. You toast the flaming shot and dunk it in the Guinness and chug away! Surprisingly smooth and ez to chug.

Guys... the blue drink is a White Russian with some blue dye, and the mudder's milk is an Irish Car Bomb (classic formula). It's all quite a wonderful repurposing of those drinks, and would certainly be good things to try.

In any case, happy birthday! I've much enjoyed these columns, so I hope, somewhat selfishly, that the next year brings you many fantastic experiences so that you'll have plenty more topics on which you can write!

Happy Birthday :)

Never tried any of those due to my complete lack of imaginativity. I just drink beer of flat liqour.

There's one mix, though, I've tried. More than once. Local specialty. It's called "karsk" up here.

You'll need:

1 big cup
coffee
moonshine (preferably very strong)

Fill the cup halfway with hot coffee and then add as much moonshine as you can take. Rule of thumb; 50 - 50 fill.

I never touch the stuff anymore. Moonshine's bad fer yar health, ya hear?

NOT-DISGUSTING MUDDER'S MILK sounds horrifying... and I'm Irish.

Happy birthday.
Yep, a Jagerbomb with Guiness and Bailey's? I think I'll pass thank you, drinking Guiness with a teaspoon is bad enough....
It's an Irish Car Bomb, it set the stage for other "bombs" such as Jagerbomb. It's a well known shot and most/all of these drinks are actual drinks.
What do you call it if you're in Ireland, I wouldn't fancy asking for that cause they might take offense.

Still looking for Slurm, though.

I thought the rule where put a coin in the cup, fill with coffee until you can't see it anymore then pour karsk until the coin is visible again.

It's also impolite to ask for one in England. Actually, more so. You just tell them the ingredients. They know what it is, they'll just respect the wording.

Make sure you drop the shot in the 1/2 pint of Guinness and chug it. Otherwise, it will curdle and make you sick if left there too long

That's a rule too ^^

It varies from party to party, to be honest. And amount of alcohol consumed.

All the 'bomb' drinks are just permutations of the Depth Charge (shotglass of rum in beer), which has been around since christ was a lad.

Or the good ole fashioned boilermaker consisting of usually a shot of whiskey in ale.

While I'm on a hiatus from drink, I love the recipes and the pictures you chose to go along with them. I'll keep this handy for when I'm ready for something not so virgin again.
