So I just got Rock Band 2 for Christmas and I was excited to play it. The problem is when I tried to put that batteries into the drum where the middle battery should go there seems to be a missing coil to complete the connection and the battery won't hold it's place. I doubt this is a common thing but is there anything I can do to power the drums before we go back to Best Buy and exchange it later in the week. Also I want to be sure this isn't how it's supposed to be, but i doubt it.

bad luck? i dunno but a broken coil is the least of your worries the drums for that are sposed to be crap (or was that ghwt?) so just becareful and good luck. or stick to guitars or singing like i do.

Its just bad luck. you can counter it with a slab of foil.

It is guitar hero that has the bad kits. At least the first RB drum kit is decent.
