Drunk fighting games

Have you had a drunken Street Fighter Tournament? I didn't participate in it but I watched a drunken tournament with my friends last weekend. It was loads of fun and had plenty of screw ups.

Just wondering who out there gets drunk with their friends then attempt to keep their hand-eye-coordination skills working.

Closest I've come is playing as Lei Wulong in Tekken, when it wasn't me getting drunk.

Not really a tournament but I have played SF2 Turbo in particular whilst very drunk with a few friends I eventually lost when I was so drunk I couldnt even perform the hundred hand slap move with E Honda anymore actually I could barely hold the controller or see the screen.

We then tried Halo 2 and couldnt get out of the starting area as we couldnt find the door.

I often play SC with friends while drunk though as its the only fighting game a lot of them will play.

Played plenty of drunk Smash Brothers and D.U.I. Mario Kart, but no Street Fighter. That said, we're usually too far gone to organise a proper tournament.

Obviously not a fighting game, but I have tried with friends to play Rock Band and Guitar Hero whilst drunk. It has not been hugely successful.

I like playing drunken fist style fighter characters, but I usually tend to avoid alcohol myself.

Super Smash Bros Drunken is the best shit ever.
But we usually do sports games, that's so funny xD

Soul Calibur II and the series is a game i'm not great at, at all.
Until one very drunken night, in extremely beer-fueled state, i mastered every move, combo whatnot's and kicked all my mates asses in said game.
Never repeated that, in drunk or sober state.

Also, drunk Pokémon is awesome.
Finding an old cartridge with crappy pokémons lv. beneath usable, with names like Cocaine.
Priceless stuff...

For my friends, its actually drunken Mario Party. In fact, it becomes its own drinking game with crazy outcomes.

Fighting games are AWESOME when drunk, i thought this was common knowledge!

And the more obscure and insane and japanese the fighting game is, the better I remember having bought a Saint Seya fighting game on the ps2 for the lulz and had a great time with my friends playing it due to the extreme nature of the special moves such as one dude taking his opponent and dragging him through different "realms" (was something like the human realm, the demon realm, the angel realm, some crazy stuff), we were laughing so bloody hard...

I don't drink but all our SC4 sessions were very dependent on who could mash the throw button first. Or who could get the most hilarious ring out.

Then two of my friends had a create a character battle with both of them creating the most horrific girls in swimsuits characters ever...

I used to play against my stoned neighbors in Super Smash Bros. a few years ago. They were really good when they were high >.>

Also, I don't drink but I have played drunk people in SC4 before. Shit was hilarious.
