I haven't got any use out of my DS in a while bar Final Fantay Tactics Advance 2 & Pokemon Diamond.

Anyone suggest any hidden gems to go find?

GTA Chinatown Wars was absolutely brilliant.

Also, I had a lot of fun with Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

Have you played "Advance Wars: Dual Strike"? Or "Fire Emblem"?

Those 2 eat up alot of my DS time.

The Ace Attorney series. Granted, they were originally made for the Gameboy Advance, but the DS Versions are better, in my opinion. They're Japanese, but they've been translated to English, and they are very original, funny and interesting.

To be honest, I can't think of any games for the DS that really stand out. My friend used to yap on about it, and a couple of games were okay, but no brilliant ones.

In terms of hidden gems, I found Rhythm Heaven to be quite entertaining. Be warned, it's not easy.

I've heard Pokemon Platinum is out now, which includes the Legendary Palkia that wasn't in your copy of Diamond, as well as a whole bunch of new legendaries.

You might also want to try Scribblenauts, which is out now IIRC and is very innovative, as well as The World Ends With You, a lovely little gonzo RPG.

Also, if you still play Game Boy Advance games on your DS, presuming it's not a DSi, try Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, the original game that FFTA2 is a sequel to. You might like it, presuming you haven't played it already.

Good luck! :)

Ace Attorney seires, Rhythm Heaven, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, Final Fantasy IV, the Professor Layton games, Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure.

You're welcome.

EDIT: Also Chrono Trigger.

Here's a list of absolute must-play games:

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney
Elite Beat Agents
The World Ends with You (one of the best RPGs I've ever played)
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Professor Layton and the Curious Village
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow (it would serve you well to play Aria of Sorrow on the GBA first)
Chrono Trigger (a remake of an absolute classic)

That'll get you started. Play all of these. The DS has one of the best game libraries in recent memory, in my opinion.

All the already listed games are damn fine games, only thing I'd add is Shin megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, A JRPG/SRPG with demons.

Bowser's Inside story is either out now of very soon, I loved Elite Beat Agents and P'mon Platinum has some quite large differences than Diamond/Pearl. The Sonic Rush games were quite fun, like the old Sonics but prettier...

I dont play my DS that much but I'm quickly getting sick of the Xbox so it might get some more hours on it.

Shadow Dragon has manaketes (similar to dragon laguz), but that's it. It's a decent game. I've been wanting to play Professor Layton as well.

OT: Everything I was going to say has been said. I've got to work on my response speed.

Yes, it is, and I use the term "remake" very tightly. Any potential translation problems are fixed, but as I recall, they didn't enhance the story that much (Of course, I never played the original, so the story was still new to me). If you do get it, have fun.
