So what were your first impressions of the multiplayer portion of Dead Space 2?
When I saw the article when it was announced and the beta gameplay I honestly thought it was gonna be udder shit, but man I was impressed. They didn't put much work in to it, but whats there is a fun and great team based game.
Theres only three problems I have with it, but those are because of the players not the game. The first is that there is not enough emphasis they put in game for the objectives. I always get left with kids who don't go for the objective what so ever, and I'm left to destroy the Marker, activate the escape pods, etc. and give a few deaths while doing it ("LOL what nub he went ONLY 12 and 10! I bet hes autistic heehaheehee" coming from the 12 year-old teammates). The other two complaints are features in the game being abused. The Pack necromorph (the mutated baby) has the shortest respawn time, and has an annoying execution attack (jumps on human, which ensues into a battle of who can press a button the fastest) which stops the human from getting to an objective, and there is no class limit to make it worse. For example whenever we're almost getting the last objective, the necromorph team will all abuse the Pack and it's execution attack. The other abused feature is Stasis. It is in my opinion overpowered and over used against the bigger necromorphs (The Spitter, which is the one I main, and the Puker).
