Hey Beloved Escapist folk, Do you know what the error "80710092" means when I try and log into my PSN (PlayStation Network). I have had it a few times but I haven't known how to fix it. please help me! *desperate*

It won't let me log in, I am using a wireless connection. *edit*

It means "typing 'PSN 80710092' into Google would have got you the following in seconds"

80710092 - "An error has occured. You've been signed out from the PS Network." It's assumed to refer to a dropped connection, and may be a problem with your internet connection, firewall, or the device itself. Most of the first set I Googled found changing the router's channel setting worked [ie, they were getting interferance from other wireless routers nearby], others just reset it.

Are you using a Linksys router out of curiosity?

Oh and Google is your friend [http://lmgtfy.com/?q=DSN+ERROR+80710092].

It led me here: Playstation Forums [http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=psnetwork&thread.id=14197]

If you mean DNS (Domain Name Server) error then you are not getting an IP from your router. Release and renew should fix it.
He doesn't, he's listing an error code PSN [Playstation Network] throws up.
