Dumb bets

Well not dumb I suppose, but they ended up being dumb. Recently I bet my friend I could beat him in pool. It was not so much a bet as a friendly game with stakes, but whatever. The prize was our dignity. The loser had to get up in front of our Japanese class and sing a song(think those songs they use teach small children things, this one about the weather.) and do a dance that my friend had prepared. From the title you can infer that I lost. He should have the video online soon.

I once had a friend bet me that I couldn't punch through drywall. Being the smartass I am, I told him to line up TWO pieces of drywall. I punched through, but broke my pinky knuckle. I won, but was a a little sore for a while. I just wish I didn't use my writing hand. XD

One day me and my friend were talking and somehow we got on the subject of me choking him out, and he said that I could never do it in a million years. Which I honestly didn't think I could since I'm like 120lbs, and he's about 180lbs, so he said if I could he'd give me $20. We got to it and I ended up choking him out, BUT I also made him puke up blood, which got everywhere..I felt sorta bad, but then when I was 20 bucks richer I was happier.

Not a really great one, but a friend got cocky about world geography and boasted that he knew capital city of Slovakia to everyone (but he was wrong). I won something like £30 that day from people who didn't bother looking it up for themselves.

Me and a couple friends were playing some poker last year. I took everything my friend had in the first game (it was a dumb bet on his part).

Heres one that happened to a dude in Sydney:

This 21 year old guy ate a live slug for a bet while out with his mates. Unfortunately for him this slug just happened to have a certain parasite which left him with a form of Rat Lungworm Disease. This illness has basically turned him into a vegetable, unable to speak, move or even think. For this he got $53.
