Glendal / Mintcake seems to be the weirdest. Just because my Tutor was like that.. giving random people nicknames. She knew I was called Glendal by my friends, Glendal sounds like Kendal. Kendal make Mintcakes... she made the connection, and it too stuck.. stuck like a melted mintcake...

Something like that happened to me...I was attacked by a german shepard, and my friends named me K9, and it stuck.

Of course they also nicknamed me "squeak" for the same reason, but that only stuck, among some people...
