Dumbest Reason(s) for Hating a Game?

A certain professional gaming magazine said the following
and i quote "the problem with (Dragon ball raging blast 2) is that everything has been done before. the story line is the same as every game before it with no new story arches... Now players can play the new Eradicate the sayans story line... they have also added in characters that have never been in the actual show or manga." All of the comments were produced legatively. How many people work on these reviews. Four?

No, its the part right after you leave the aircraft carrier and have to go in that water treatment plant to activate it and find out where the guys fater went... I keep getting killed by the mutants

Oh that bit, which the science team outside and such, yeah I remember that bit, I recommend if your getting owned by super mutants that you upgrade your equipment, which has probably been said to you before. Also there are auto-turrets in the first room in the building if I remember correctly. if your stats or wallet seem to be lacking go randomly shoot crap in the wasteland for a while your sure to get exp and caps.

The most Irksome for me is when a game is mocked for it's visual style. Just cause it's styled like a cartoon or has a simpler visual style does not make it a bad game, an easy game, or a kids game.

Also when they complain about a game being too short or if it has "too much story." Those are only problems if the gameplay's not up to par.

Everybody who hates Call of Duty. They'll bullshit a lot and say it's bad, when really they're just jumping on the bandwagon. I'm not a CoD fan myself, but you're insane to say the game is bad.

But when I played it it just doesnt feel, fun?

If I come to power, I will ban the use of the word "gay" as a description of something or someone you don't like. Not just because it's unfair to actual homosexual people, but because, according to the idiots that use it, the simple use of the word "gay" automatically trumps any argument the other person might have and therefore should be used every other sentence. I pity any actual homosexual people going to my school, seeing how I hear people call crap they don't like "gay" nearly every five minutes.

Although, I'm hardly not guilty of having a stupid excuse for not playing a game. Specifically: "Because I'm a lazy bastard".

There's a difference between stating a game is bad and just hating to play a game.
Any aspect of a game can be reason enough to not want to play it. That is fine, because it's strictly personal at this point.

It only gets dumb when people fail to compare apples with apples so to speak. Not enjoying turn-based strategy is fine. Saying a game is objectively bad, because it isn't a FPS is dumb.

Gamers who rip on games for having bad graphics aren't necessarilly wrong though; they just have a limited set of values. Aslong as their opinions are consistent. Just call them graphics whores and wish them happiness with their tech demos.

What it comes down to is this: play the genre and compare games to your favourites in that genre.

Most of my friends, who have Xboxes, often vent their disapproval of and irrational hatred of the PS3 and PS3 exclusives.
EXAMPLE:
Me: [Playing some game, which for some reason reminded me of the wonderful Ratchet and Clank]

My friend: "Ratchet and Clank is crap!"

I've heard people say Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem 3D and MINECRAFT suck because of the graphics.
I've also heard the "Portal sucks because there's no killing in it" argument, to which I proceed to slap them in the face with a herring.
And I've heard people say Silent Hill is bad because it's scary and has a crazy story. I literally just shook my head and facepalmed.
