Anyone else playing this game? So far i'm addicted, loving the combat, swapping fight styles kinda similar to Heavenly Sword. I'm playing Lucas and just had my first party death in the Graveyard against the end mage boss.

Well, my experience from the demo:

-Mouse/Keyboard controls are awkward.
-No DirectInput controller support.
-Xbox 360 Controller Emulator causes game to crash.
-FMVs are blocky, and not because of the 1280x720 resolution.
-Game had some performance issues at max settings, though that could be my aging PC.

Didn't find any gamebreaking bugs, but I didn't play it a lot.

Playing it on a console? If so, how is it? Tried it on PC, and while it seemed okay, the controls were a bit funky.

After the borefest that was 1 and 2 I don't really want to chance a purchase.
Titan Quest: Immortal Throne is still a better dungeon crawler.

I was hell set on buying it a few weeks ago, but the combination of the host benefit only multiplayer and the fact that if you play single player, you can only have one of your NPC companions with you at a time, even though you can use all 4 if you play it online.

I gave up on it as a co-op title when they told me you are forced to play the hosts characters and get to take nothing back with you. I gave up on it as a single player game when they told me you cant have all your companions. Both times I was crushed v.v.

if Im wrong about either of these things, someone please tell me, I was dreaming about this damn game until those discoveries ruined it for me.

Obsidian games seem to need to have bugs when they first come out or aren't very good. (only played the Dungeon Siege 3 demo)
Just found it it to be the worse of both hack and slash and story based RPGs from the demo. First Obsidian game I haven't or maybe will never buy. (well cheating I only bought NWN2 recently....)

I think people are missing the charm of this game. So far I haven't found any bugs. There is a good deal of character customisation in the skills you chose. I'm playing mouse and keyboard and although the keys are unusual, once you get used to the them the game really flows. The stances are well designed so i'm swapping from two handed weapon for dashes and dps to shield and sword to reduce the damage coming back at me and also for the shield bash / stun, then to defensive block for heals. Throw in dodge rolls and this game feels like proper melee and top it all off with empowered attacks / empowered abilities and managing focus to maintain blocks. In a typical battle i'm chosing my opponents, usualy mages, then ranged mobs and watching out for special moves the mobs are pulling off back at me. This game makes you think about combat, headfirst toe to toe charges will get you killed.

The demo was pretty good, but I'll probably only pick it up sometime next year during the next release drought. I promised myself I wouldn't buy another game this summer (except for Deus Ex 3, which is paid for since January). And fall releases are waaaayy more interesting than Dungeon Siege 3.

I don't think I was in the right frame of mind to enjoy DS3, I was looking to get a Diablo fix and this game disappointed.... hugely. I guess if I wasn't expecting a Diablo game it coulda been good.... oh well.

I find that Dungeon Siege 3 on the PS3 is quite enjoyable. For those of us who have played both Torchlight and Titan Quest to pieces, it offers a nice diversion until D3 is released.

Torchlight II and D3.. those are the games I'm looking to in order to feed my hack'n slash fix.
Torchlight 2: More Diablo than Diablo.

OT: From the looks of DS3 I'd much rather play 1.
