Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 Heading Out to PS3 and 360

I just hope Mission Mode isn't as dull.
Trust me, it is annoying as hell to get some pilots some licenses, (Amuro in red Zaku, Haman in almost any UC Gundam, etc.,) and there was no real coherency in the stories, nothing that even HINTED at character relationships that were consistent.

Even though DW:G had some murkiness in the stories, you knew who was friends, at least.

Personally I'd rather they release the Fist of the North Star version of Dynasty Warriors they're supposedly making.

I always thought the idea of these games was good (hell any gundam game should be good) but I played the first one and only half completed it.

Dont get me wrong I found it an enjoyable game, just not very flexible and this kind of put me off getting number 2.
I might pick this one up (although I really should watch more gundam other than just Wing.)

Could anyone recommend any new/decent gundam stuff I should watch?

Someone deserves to go die in a ditch somewhere (hyperbole, obviously ) for the fact that the Gihren's Greed/Ambition series was never localised. Those games would have been awesome to play for the anime cutscenes alone:

Hell no, otherwise I wouldn't have made such a big deal out of it now.

But it also makes no sense, as me and my housemate caned the first game into submission, and I played quite a bit of 2. So I should have known.

Still desperately want Deathscythe though. Why the hell would you only include Wing and Epyon? What kind of monsters are you Namco?

They're cruel beasts, but you could always try the quite fun but seriously challenging Gundam battle Assault games (Deathscythe Hell Custom is on there).

Now the Epyon Custom looks awesome...unbelievably awesome...and there's that one from Unicorn Gundam that I think is meant to be an upgrade on the Sazabi, that also looks awesome.

"Beefed up enemy AI"? Translation, enemies that could potentially kill you in a couple of hits instead of not hitting you at all. That is what I bet they mean knowing their development trends.

God no, not another person that had to comment about how they dislike the franchise without actually bringing a valid argument to the table...

All the arguments were leveled while the PS2 was still king. So, the words Another Dynasty Warriors game will suffice.

I would like to... but the problem is I don't have a freind that owns a PS3...

I would say wait a week or so after it comes out for the price to drop, but then you won't be sure that the game will be in stock.

Case in point: Me and my friend Justin got two of the four PS2 Warriors Orochi 2 discs the local game store had. His disc is the one I use, since mine got screwed four months after I got it.

What I'm trying to say is, if you like the Warriors franchise, you will be likely to like this. If you don't give it a try, but realize that this is a polarizing series due to KOEI sticking with a system that could use a tune-up and the fact that the two main series (Dynasty and Samurai) are rooted in history, and the game can't really change the setup too much there.

Gotta agree with that. SEED is a hella lot more watchable than Wing is.

OT: Thank Christ they're upping the AI since they were nothing shy of pathetic in DY:G 2.
