I have a smoke allergy, so while I don't overall have an opinion on whether it's good or bad, less people making it impossible for me to breathe makes me happy.
Sure am! You should see me at Christmas. :3Queen Michael said:I'm not a fan of any kind of smoking. As the Flanders kids say, "Smokers are jokers! Smokers are jokers!"
I don't think most people really know what they are?Sleekit said:i also personally think that a lot of people negatively react to smokers using the new technology specifically because they've become accustomed to disliking the ritual and mannerisms associated with it and they sometime think smokers are "rubbing thier faces in it" and so on.
I am a 20 cigarette a day man (or was). I'd happily smoke until I'm riddled with disease (that way the pathologist will know I led an interesting life) but at 20-a-day at 10 or so euro per pack, it's an expensive habit.dumbseizure said:So, do you like vaping? Do you think it's good or bad?
For those of you out there that do use e-cigarettes, what do you use?
The Tesla VW Mod is the device I use. It looks like part of cylon anatomy. ;-)Sleekit said:i'm pretty sure these things were in a science fiction movie so on that basis alone i'm in.
Really? and then you see an advert like thisWhat is this, the 50s? Remember, you're not cool unless you smoke kids!
You lost me somewhere between the adjectives, moralising and speculation...Laughing Man said:Lets remember folk that we used to think that smoking had no issues and the companies that made and encouraged folks to smoke are now grasping at ecigs with the same money grubbing claws that they used to grab at the cigarette market many many years ago. The only difference being that maybe it will be a few years before we work out if these things are harmful or not rather than the several decades it took to find out just how bad cigarettes are.
The truly awful thing is these ecigs started off as a means for smokers to quit the habit yet around a year or two ago they somehow went from being a method for quitting to just being a plain and simple alternative to smoking. Pretty much trading one extremely destructive habit for a habit we really don't yet know the long term health issues of.
I've only used a hookah on occasion, but i'd say that if you used the flavoured tobacco in them, you can get similar flavours from a e-cig as you can from a hookah.prowll said:As a non-smoker, I'd rather have someone around with an e-cig than a smoker. Frankly they stink a lot less. e-cigs have much less second hand smoke and the scent doesn't stick to your clothes so much.
Not trying to sound arrogant about it: I will occasionally smoke with a hooka. I've wondered how that compares to an e-cig.
Capcha: Treat yo self
That also depends on what kind's being used. All the people I know that vape and use e-cigarettes have a very distinct smell.Bertylicious said:The vapour is actually quite innocuous. It has no smell, it has no texture. It doesn't leave any condensation and vanishes almost immediately after it is exhaled.
I try to use ones that leave very little to no smell, and while some juices do leave a smell behind, I find that after a few minutes that smell is gone anyway.Blow_Pop said:That also depends on what kind's being used. As a former smoker, now non smoker who can't be around people smoking without being sent into an asthma attack, I like people who vape a lot better. Because the vapour doesn't irritate my asthma. Most of the people I know who do it are trying to cut out the nicotine addiction so they have the least amount as possible and keep dialing it down until it's not there anymore. And some of the scents/tastes they use smell really good.
The start was the adjectives, the middle had the speculation and the end had the moralising I am more than a little interested at how you managed to get through the entire post but still got lost between three separate points? Or where you so lost you just hit the replay to thread button in the hope you would find your way out?You lost me somewhere between the adjectives, moralising and speculation...
